Why I love cheer

It is the only sport that is really team based
If one person is missing it ruins it all
It creates confidence
It challenges everyone
Nothing is ever guaranteed

It's the most wonderful time of the year
Not the one filled with Christmas cheer
But the one that we spend in the sun
The one which is none stop fun

Why I love summer?
The days are filled with warm weather and laughter, going outside
The nights are filled with late night conversations, bonfires and camping

I can't wait for this

Time with my friends.

The waves roll in The sun shines down This creates the perfect atmosphere.

One day at the beach

I feel the sand beneath my feet. I hear the laughter of children. I see the sky clear and blue. I taste the ice cream, so sweet. I smell the suncreen all too strong.

Waiting for summer, when the skies are blue
Where there are no worries, just me and you
Where we all feel ever so alive
When our generation can truly thrive

When the days are long and the nights are short
Days playing on the basketball court
Waiting for the icecream truck to come our way
Outside i feel the sprinkler spray

When we see the sun smile down at us
When there is no need to put up a fuss
Calm days where we hear the grasshoppers sing
Loud noise filled nights make our ears ring

When I feel the warm sand beneath my feet
I know that this season just cant be beat.
